Cuddly Like Me

I think I've been playing Plants Vs Zombies too much because I've been having recurring dreams about zombies engulfing small communities in very vivid and scary detail.

During the dream I'm more freaked out than when I watch a horror movie but when I wake up I don't feel scared but I do remember particular details about the dream like running around a department store trying to find a place to hide or holing up in a fortified abandoned train car(!) in hopes of waiting out the zombies.

I'm so fed up with the abundance skin whitening beauty products! I've been trying to find a face powder that matches my skin tone. Seeing as I'm living in the Philippines and the vast majority of people are tan I thought it would have an easy go of it. Sadly, every shop I've been too only has powders that waaaay lighter. Plus all the sales people keep pushing skin whitening creams, lotions and facial washes on to me.

AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!

I don't understand the Filipino obsession with being fair. I really don't get it.

It's just me in the staff house so even though it's only half past seven I've already had dinner.
This place is quite spooky at night because of the old-style design and tall trees surrounding it so I'm making sure that there's at least one light on.

I've got a php coding project that HAS to be done by next week *cries*. I'm actually on the last module but it's got 7 or so components to it so... *sigh* a lot of hard work ahead.

Tomorrow is Pia's birthday. To celebrate we're going to have dinner and watch Wolverine.

It's been a long day - first we continued network training with the high school kids and this afternoon I went to La Carlota. Our client's office is so hot. Not in the "OMG! It's so cool and beautiful" sense but like "OMFG! I'm MELTING! I'm MELTING!".

I've got two more episodes and then I'm caught up with The Amazing Race. Even after 14 seasons I'm still excited to see all the places that they go to.
